This page will give examples of pups I have raised with alternate colors including liver, liver tan, white, liver pepper and parti colors. These dogs may be registered with the AKC as long as you use the right color code and send a front and side view photo in with the registration papers. I have included a list of the alternate code numbers at the bottom of this page. If you have any questions feel free to ask.
These are liver pepper.
This is a liver pepper parti. Thi is my boy Willoughby both as a pup and as an adult. You can see how he has lightened in color as most peppers do. He is so gorgeous.
These are all solid liver (chocolate). Shades can vary from light to mahogany, often with a lot of red in the beard and skirt.
This handsome man is a dark liver parti.
Koshi is a liver tan. Same pattern as a salt and pepper but in shades of brown.
These awesome babes are all pure white. Some whites get a tinge of yellow down their back but it isn't preferred.
These are various shades of salt and pepper parti. The lightest colored ones are often called platinum parti.
These ladies and gents are all black parti and some have ticking (tiny spots like freckles).
This little man is wheaten.
This is a wheaton male on the right and his sister on the left. She was liver pepper as a pup but will probably fade to wheaton as an adult. The male was born wheaton.
Lastly we have a black and silver parti.
